Mr. Rizvi, the District Chairman for technical education and vocational training of Rotary District 3270 Pakistan and Afghanistan, is serving actively in distinct philanthropic social circles nationally and internationally. Rizvi has dedicated all his life to the community service tasks. He was the team leader for group study exchange to Rotary Flemington, New Jersey for vocational technology in the year 2013. He has served in Rotary International across borders to India for which he was certified by the Rotary Club of Karachi Cosmopolitan. Mr. Rizvi has successfully implemented various significant initiatives regarding healthcare, education for special kids, law and order. As a part of Rotary Global, during Earthquake and flood relief, he has done remarkable job in Disaster Relief Management System.
The renowned service of Mr. Rizvi highlights the development and implementation of women central prison in Karachi. This project was initiated and implemented upon the request of the then Chief Justice of Pakistan CJP(R) Nasir Aslam Zahid. The obsolete system was an obstacle in record management and several other tasks. With the automated prison system, CJP along with 40 vocal female advocates got 1340 inmates justice and they were sent back to their homes within only 2 months.
Among his notable endeavors is the establishment of an innovative online non-profit women’s education platform called “LMS” in 2006. This platform has empowered students from around the world by offering degree and certificate courses. Within just one year, an impressive 10,000 women globally engaged in the learning process through this platform. To enhance the program’s impact, “DAISY enabled digital learning” was introduced in 2008, making it the first-ever digital Quran.
Based on the learning of automating HBL, Azhar Rizvi developed a concept paper on nationwide Telemedicine in collaboration with Rawalpindi Medical College, Holy Family Hospital and THK Solutions. Established 14 centers of telemedicine in KPK and Azad Kashmir in collaboration with Pakistan Army Medical Core, Intel Pakistan, ITU & Pasha, PSEB, MOIYT & PM Secretariat; saving 100,000s of lives, supplying medicine and providing consultancy to the effected population.

Azhar Rizvi then extended and established this telemedicine practice in Attock district with the help of USAID, established and connected the DHU, RHU and BHU with Rawalpindi Medical College and Holy Family Hospital, 50,000 patients were viewed every month by the Rawalpindi hospital doctors and treated in their cities. There was held the 1st international ITU conference in Islamabad and 8 papers were read based on the work done in telemedicine.
Rashid Memorial Welfare Organization (RMWO) was set up by a group of dedicated retired PAF officers in 1998 in memory of Flt. Lt. Rashid Ahmed Khan, who died a hero. In 2002, Azhar Rizvi played a pivotal role in setting up the Rashid Memorial Welfare Organization (RMWO), an inspiring initiative dedicated to serving the underprivileged and poor communities. Through Rashidabad, a pilot project of RMWO, the organization has made significant strides in education, healthcare, environment, socioeconomics, adult literacy, vocational training, and female self-actualization and self-enfranchisement. Over the years, this organization has quietly and effectively transformed lives, positively impacting the community.
Furthermore, Azhar Rizvi’s expertise and involvement have been instrumental in the automation of Civil Hospitals, optimizing the fundraising and technology infrastructure for the RMWO project. His visionary leadership and dedication have contributed significantly to the success and sustainability of these initiatives. With a great work in the field of telemedicine, Rizvi has put a lot of efforts in civil hospital automation efficiently and effectively. With the hospital automated, it helped a lot of underprivileged people in getting better treatment with the best equipment. The hospital record management was quiet better and it helped in 1000s of patients getting their treatments done. With the help of rotary international, Azhar Rizvi managed to get 2500 plus beds in the civil hospital Karachi. This automated hospital system helped a lot in the earthquake and flood relief management.
